Who was the singer in Russia in 1997, who sang on a bunch of roses, a black cat, and a mother crying?

I heard this song while in Russia in 1997. Evropa also was in the tape loop of what was popular. I bought the tape at a roadside stand on the highway between Moscow and Vladimir and me loved it. Other songs were about a rose bouqet (very cliche) and telling Mom, "Mom, grusti ne." I've since lost the tape, and I can not remember the exact song titles or artist name. An internet search has failed to reach a list of popular songs during the summer of 1997 for help me. And the web site Europa Plus "does not do things like file. Any help is appreciated.
